Senior🎓
Top SchoolYordan Radev is a Senior Data Scientist at Environment and Climate Change Canada with six years of experience building geospatial ingestion, processing, and visualization pipelines that span systems, servers, and web apps. Based in Montreal, he applies Python (xarray, dask, matplotlib), OGC APIs, and modern web stacks (Vue, Docker) to produce public-facing services like MSC-AniMet and VFSP-WAS-Canada. Self-taught across Linux, SQL, and full-stack development, he moves fluidly between backend data engineering and frontend delivery to ensure operational, user-facing meteorological products. Colleagues describe him as collaborative and curious—he credits much of his progress to open-source tooling and in-house expertise. Yordan’s work uniquely combines rigorous physics/computer-science training with production-focused implementations that serve Canadians in real time.
