Top SchoolYorgos Oikonomou is a DevOps engineer with 12 years of experience specializing in cloud-native architectures, performance tuning, and cross-domain troubleshooting spanning databases, networks, applications and systems. He has led platform migrations to microservices and built highly available, scalable solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus and Grafana while ensuring security and operational reliability. Previously he combined backend leadership with hands-on engineering—designing data models, event-driven workflows and efficient APIs using Django, Postgres, Redis/Celery and Neo4j. Based in Athens, he is a fast learner and self-motivated problem solver who favors architecting for performance and maintainability and thrives with little supervision. An MSc in Cloud Computing from TU Delft complements his practical experience, and his background includes building a resource-management prototype for critical enterprise workloads during his master’s thesis.
