Senior🎓
Top SchoolYosuke Fujisawa is an actuarial and AI-focused leader with 11+ years of experience blending data science, risk management, and public policy across academia, industry, and government. He currently serves as a visiting professor at Waseda University and Data Science Officer at Sumitomo Life, after directing AI and product research roles at major reinsurers including Swiss Re and RGA. His work spans enterprise risk management, pension economics, and life/health product development, and he sits on multiple Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare pension committees advising economic assumptions. Trained in actuarial science (Waterloo) and mathematics, he champions making actuaries more data-driven, model-guided, and socially responsible—applying AI to real-world financial uncertainty rather than as an academic exercise. An understated strength is his track record of translating advanced analytics into regulatory and business decisions across Japanese and global institutions.
