Top SchoolYoung Lee is a Staff Software Engineer with 14 years of experience building scalable media and backend systems across consumer electronics and large cloud platforms. He has led cross-functional teams at Amazon on Fire TV and Prime Video, modernizing sign-up flows with TypeScript/React and architecting live content catalog pipelines that feed FireTV, PrimeVideo, and Alexa. Earlier work includes deep WebKit and GStreamer contributions—porting WebKit to set-top boxes, implementing GPU-accelerated compositing and parallel HTML5 canvas rendering, and improving webOS media playback. Comfortable across C/C++, JavaScript/Node, and cloud-native architectures, Young blends low-level graphics performance tuning with production-grade backend engineering. Now at Coupang Fulfillment Services, he continues to drive platform-scale data and media solutions. Colleagues know him for tackling hard integration and performance problems that sit at the intersection of media, graphics, and distributed systems.
