Zack Bloom is a product-focused engineering leader and founder with 15 years of experience building developer tools and polished front-end experiences. Based in Austin, he co-founded Heirloom to help families stay connected and previously led product and engineering efforts at Cloudflare, shepherding Workers, Storage, and Tunnel from launch to product. He brings deep hands-on front-end expertise—contributing to well-known open-source projects at HubSpot and others (odometer, tether, shepherd, sortable)—and a knack for removing dependencies and improving UX and build systems. Zack pairs startup founder grit (Eager, acquired by Cloudflare) with enterprise product strategy, able to move between code, architecture, and go-to-market decisions. He’s equally comfortable refactoring a dropdown positioning engine as he is designing product strategy, and often surfaces small usability fixes that materially improve large systems.
