Wang Zesong
Summary
🤩
RockstarZesong Wang is a backend engineer with six years of experience building and deploying machine learning services and developer tools, currently focused on agent and LLM infrastructure at TikTok's Ark Large Model Platform in Singapore. He has hands-on experience across cloud and on-prem clusters (GKE, AWS, Azure, in-house), ML inference optimization, and production microservices from roles at UCARE.AI, ByteDance and SmartMore. Zesong combines low-level performance work—implementing custom CPU/GPU operators and benchmarking runtimes like ONNX Runtime and OpenVINO—with higher-level LLM application development using Flask and LangChain. He is comfortable bridging ML research and platform engineering, having built pipelines for model conversion, embeddings, and data/model management for internal and external data scientists. Trained as an electrical and electronics engineer at NUS, he brings a performance-first mindset to scalable ML systems and developer tooling.
