Top SchoolZeyad Gasser is a freelance Staff Android Engineer based in Barcelona with 10+ years of hands-on experience and 13+ years leading teams to modernize mobile products and ship measurable business outcomes. He specializes in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture and SDUI, repeatedly improving crash-free rates to >99% and boosting test coverage and build speeds at scale. Zeyad has led teams of up to 45 engineers, launched new product lines from prototype to 1k daily bookings, and freed teams to ship faster by standardizing platforms, CI/CD, and observability tooling. He pairs product-focused experimentation and user research with engineering rigor—running end-to-end retention hypotheses and iterative beta releases to reduce churn. A remote-first leader and mentor, he prioritizes psychological safety and has a track record of growing engineers into senior roles while driving platform initiatives that cut release times by as much as 86%. Beyond code, he’s pragmatic about developer experience—creating tools and processes (like Gradle/build observability and merge automation) that materially accelerate delivery.
