Top SchoolZeyu Wang is a Senior Software Engineer based in San Francisco with 12 years of experience building reliable, secure systems across media, insurance, and enterprise software. He has driven backend and platform work at Netflix since 2019 after senior engineering roles at Guidewire and Dolby, bringing production-grade expertise in large-scale, performance-sensitive environments. His background includes consulting and early-career engineering roles that sharpened his ability to translate complex business requirements into maintainable code and practical architecture. Academically grounded with a Bachelor in Computer Science (Digital Systems Security) and an MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, he brings a strong security-first mindset to system design. Colleagues know him for balancing shipping features quickly with long-term operational thinking and for elevating team practices around reliability and risk mitigation. Outside of obvious product work, he blends deep security training with hands-on platform development—a combination that helps prevent subtle, high-impact failures before they reach production.
