Senior🎓
Top SchoolZixiao Shi is a Senior Data Scientist with a decade of experience applying ML, causal inference, and full-stack data engineering to product and building-science problems across startups, academia, and large tech (Coinbase, Meta, Shopify). He blends deep research (PhD in Smart Building Technology, 40+ peer-reviewed papers and two best-paper awards) with product impact—having scaled AI Studio to 100+ countries and 10x DAU and sped model evaluation cycles from weeks to days. His work spans ETL, anomaly detection, imputation, forecasting, and energy/building automation, and he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses while consulting on green-building projects. Notably, he built B2B software and reproducible pipelines that bridge rigorous experiment design with production ML, making him equally comfortable in notebooks, production code, and the classroom.
