Top SchoolZuraiz Zafar is a software engineer with 11 years of experience building full-stack, production-grade systems and shipping customer-facing products from concept to release. Formerly at AWS, he improved SLA reliability for large IoT workflows, implemented PrivateLink support to cut customer costs, and halved release times by stabilizing testing and rollout practices. He combines front-end polish (React and UX improvements) with backend scalability (API consolidation, secure endpoints, and data-mapping across services) and has led interns and cross-functional efforts. Now based in Toronto and currently engineering at Armstrong Fluid Technology, he brings a pragmatic, metrics-driven approach to reducing operational costs and developer friction. A University of Ottawa alum who genuinely enjoys making things, he pairs hands-on coding with an eye for reusable architecture and developer tooling.
